This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Care Practitioner with a desire to lead and manage staff within a professional and successful organisation. Horizon Healthcare Homes provides person focused support to people with learning disabilities and complex needs. The successful candidate will report directly to the Manager of Hampton House, which is a 12 bed home located in HD2, and will work alongside the existing Deputy Manager; at times you will be expected deputise in their absence. The salary is negotiable dependent upon experience / qualifications.
This is a varied role that will involve delivering direct support to the people that we support as well as offering strong leadership to, and management of, a committed and well-established staff team. We are therefore looking for someone with the values and aptitude which will complement the strong team of staff at the home; someone who is caring and empathetic; an excellent communicator; and who is committed to improving the life of people with learning disabilities.

Deputy Manager Experience
To be successful in the Deputy Manager role, you will have
- experience of delivering support to a high standard within a social care setting;
- some experience of leading individuals and teams within a residential care setting;
- knowledge and experience of the regulatory standards;
- Level 5 in Social Care Management - or be willing to complete it.
Horizon Healthcare Homes Ltd was established in 2007 and currently operate 9 residential homes for people with Learning Disabilities across West Yorkshire and employ approximately 250 staff.
All homes within Horizon Healthcare are purpose built and provide high quality support for adults with a learning and or physical disability and offer great opportunities for the people we support along with excellent training packages for our dedicated staff teams. All homes are rated Good or Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission.
