Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our childcare facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and maintaining high standards of early childhood education. Duties
- Lead and supervise nursery staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team performance.
- Develop and implement educational programmes aligned with early childhood development standards.
- Oversee daily nursery operations, including enrolment, attendance, and health & safety procedures.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and carers, addressing concerns and providing updates on children's progress.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and nursery policies.
- Organise staff rotas, training sessions, and professional development activities.
- Manage administrative tasks such as budgeting, record keeping, and reporting.
- Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages children's curiosity and social skills.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance nursery quality and service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within a childcare or nursery setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Experience working with children, ideally within early childhood education or childcare environments.
- Knowledge of nursery regulations, safeguarding policies, and health & safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are preferred.
- Ability to organise workload efficiently whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for travel between multiple nursery sites or community engagement activities.

Pay: £2,000.00-£2,500.00 per month
