Ready for a financial planning role where you're actually valued?
Willday Wealth Management is growing, and we're looking for an experienced and highly organised Financial Planning Administrator to join our Leicester team.
We're a Chartered Wealth Management firm with ambitious plans for the future, but we're deliberately keeping the thing that matters most: a personal service for our clients.
This isn't a call-centre environment and you won't disappear into a huge administration department.
You'll become an important part of our team, working directly alongside our Financial Advisers and helping make sure our clients receive an exceptional service.
What you'll be doing
You'll take ownership of the day-to-day administration that keeps a busy wealth management practice moving, including:
- Processing new business and tracking cases through to completion
- Preparing annual review and client meeting packs
- Obtaining valuations and policy information
- Processing Letters of Authority
- Liaising with pension, investment and insurance providers
- Chasing outstanding information and keeping cases moving
- Maintaining accurate client records and our FCA daybook
- Preparing portfolio valuations and fund information
- Producing FE Analytics research
- Producing CashCalc cash-flow reports
- Completing straightforward online applications and submissions
- Organising documentation following client meetings
- Speaking with clients and providers by telephone and email
- Supporting advisers before, during and after client meetings
Most importantly, we want someone who takes ownership.
If something needs chasing, you chase it.
If something isn't right, you spot it.
If a client needs an update, you make sure they get one.
Who we're looking for
Ideally, you'll already have experience within an IFA, financial planning or wealth management business.
We'd particularly like to hear from you if you have:
- 2+ years' financial services administration experience
- Good knowledge of pensions and investments
- Experience dealing with providers and platforms
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Confidence communicating with clients
- Experience using financial planning CRM systems
- FE Analytics and/or CashCalc experience advantageous, but not essential
Qualifications are welcomed, but attitude, accuracy and ownership matter more to us than letters after your name.
What you'll get
£32,000 – £37,000 basic salary, depending on experience
Plus:
- Discretionary quarterly team bonus
- Private medical insurance
- Free DMU gym membership
- Workplace pension
- 28 days' annual leave including bank holidays
- An additional day's holiday for every year with Willday, up to 5 additional days
- Employee and client referral rewards
- Support and funding towards relevant professional qualifications
- Regular training and development
- Genuine opportunities to progress as Willday Wealth Management grows
Working hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
This is an office-based position in Leicester.
We believe a wealth management business works best when the team knows one another, communicates properly and works together.
Why Willday?
