HGV Technician – Belfast

We are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician for a permanent role with a leading organisation in Belfast.
Working on a rotating days/lates shift pattern, you will inspect, service, maintain and repair HGVs, trailers and related equipment. Key duties include:
· Carrying out maintenance and repairs to company and VOSA standards
· Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and diagnostic faults
· Maintaining vehicle electrical systems, tail lifts and related equipment
· Completing welding and fabrication where required
· Working safely to minimise downtime and meet shift KPIs
What we are looking for
· City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or 4 in LGV/HGV Maintenance, or equivalent
· Previous HGV or heavy vehicle maintenance experience
· Strong diagnostic, electrical and fault-finding skills
· Experience with tail lifts, welding and fabrication
· Full clean driving licence
Desirable: C+E licence, IRTEC qualification or HGV fleet maintenance experience.
