FHP are recruiting for a QS / Senior QS to work in the National Grid / Electrification Sector in Glasgow.
The role is a hybrid role; working each week between Company Offices, Site/Projects and also from Home. We are looking for an experienced QS to have the following attributes:-
Quantity Surveyor (QS) – Key Responsibilities
Highest Priority
- Commercial Dispute Resolution
- Contract Review, Administration and Management
Medium Priority
- Initial Scope Reviews
- Management Requirement Reviews
- Budget Reviews
- Project Cashflow Management
- Preparation and Review of CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Chasing Outstanding Payments
- Preparing and Submitting Applications for Payment
- Raising and Managing Invoices
- Managing Variations and Change Control
- Final Account Preparation and Agreement
- Commercial Reporting and Forecasting
- Supporting Project Teams with Commercial Advice
- Maintaining Positive Client Relationships
Ideal Candidate
- Experience within High Voltage (HV), Transmission, Utilities or Infrastructure sectors.
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts.
- Commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Proactive, organised and solutions-focused

Pay: £65,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
