Palm Yorkshire Ltd are a well-established central heating company that offer installation, service, breakdown & repair of Domestic boilers and heating systems.
Due to growth within the social housing sector, we are looking for an experienced gas engineer to join our team to work across the Yorkshire region.
This position is full time employment.
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the safe isolation, reinstatement, and recommissioning of gas appliances in domestic properties as part of a re-roofing programme, along with the servicing and maintenance of domestic gas appliances.
In addition to these core duties, the role may also involve the installation of new boilers, heating system conversions, full central heating installations, system upgrades, and other domestic gas and heating works as required.
Position Requirements
- Full ACS Domestic Gas Qualifications (CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1)
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating
- CSCS Card
- Unvented qualifications would be desirable
- Understand Y plan and S plan heating systems
- Appropriate experience of working within the Gas Industry in relation to installations (3+ Years)
- Own hand tools
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Thorough working knowledge of the safety procedures required to carry out the work
- Be polite, punctual and well presented with great communication skills
- Be prepared to work safely to Health & Safety Regulations
- Must be able to provide references
