We are looking for a passionate and reliable Drum Teacher to join our growing music tuition team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic musician who enjoys inspiring students of all ages and abilities in a flexible, self-employed role.
About the Role
As a Drum Teacher, you will deliver engaging and enjoyable drum lessons to students ranging from beginners to advanced players. Lessons may be delivered individually or in small groups, depending on demand.
You may also work with children, young people, and vulnerable adults, so a professional, patient, and safeguarding-focused approach is essential at all times.
This role offers flexible working hours, making it ideal for freelance musicians, performers, or experienced music educators looking to expand their teaching schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality drum lessons
- Teach students of varying ages and abilities
- Help students develop technique, rhythm, timing, and musical confidence
- Prepare students for performances, grades, or personal goals where appropriate
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and professional learning environment
- Communicate effectively with students and parents when required
Requirements
- Strong drumming ability and musical knowledge
- Previous teaching experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Friendly, patient, and professional approach
- Reliable and punctual
- Enhanced DBS check preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
