Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive HR & Finance Administrator to support both our People and Finance functions. This is a varied role that combines payroll administration, employee lifecycle management, HR administration, and finance support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple disciplines.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring employees are supported throughout their employment journey while maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Maintain employee records and HR systems, ensuring data is accurate and compliant.
- Prepare resignation acceptance letters and pay rise letters
- Manage employee offboarding processes.
- Coordinate exit interviews and ensure all offboarding activities are completed, including equipment returns and system access removal.
- Support managers with HR administration and policy guidance.
- Monitor employee absences, annual leave and other HR records.
- Ensure HR documentation complies with employment legislation and company policies.
- Assist with employee benefits administration where applicable.
- Respond to employee HR/payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
Payroll
- Prepare payroll information for weekly/monthly processing.
- Process payroll changes including starters, leavers, salary amendments and deductions.
- Liaise with payroll providers to ensure accurate processing.
- Reconcile payroll reports and maintain payroll records.
- Ensure statutory payments and deductions are processed correctly.
Finance
- Weekly Cash counting and supporting with reconciling monies receive
- Reconciling order & delivery notes to invoices received in accordance with Financial Policies across hospitality venues, requesting credit notes where applicable.
- Preparing the supplier invoices for review and approval by the venue management teams
- Provide administrative support to the wider finance team.
General Administration
- Maintain confidential records across HR and Finance.
- Produce reports for management as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and company policies.
- Support ad hoc projects across HR, Finance and Operations.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in HR administration and/or finance administration.
- Experience supporting payroll processing.
- Knowledge of employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding and offboarding.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including strong Excel skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Desirable
- Experience using HRIS and payroll systems.
- Experience processing purchase invoices.
- Understanding of UK employment legislation.
- CIPD or equivalent qualification (or working towards).
