Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking experienced housekeeper to join our team, working in our luxury Gatehouse and hamlet of 24 Shepherd huts and New spa area.
This is a hands-on role where you will lead by example while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation across our accommodation facilities. Ensuring all accommodation needs are met for overnight visitors and any other duties needed.
Your duties include, but not limited to:
· Cleaning internally and externally of the Gatehouse and shepherd's Huts
· Cleaning of bathroom facilities
- Cleaning customer toilets and areas of historic hall
· Bed making (including some double bunk beds!)
· Polishing and dusting all surfaces internally
· Vacuuming and mopping floors
· Cleaning windows inside and out
· Weekly smoke and carbon monoxide checks
· Tea and coffee facilities checked and filled.
This is a casual position with between 8-24 hours per week work, over a 7 day period including weekends and bank holidays.
The successful applicant must be flexible during busy periods and school holidays. This is a hands-on position and is rewarding but can be physically demanding,
Transport: The Hall itself is situated on the A677 (Preston New Road) Bus 59 from Blackburn to Preston stops outside the hall both directions, if you don’t have your own transport. Please bear this in mind when applying.
