Full Time Cleaner / Housekeeper
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full Time Cleaner to join our Marlborough Housekeeping team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in a commercial environment. This position requires a commitment to quality, an understanding of residential cleaning practices and availability to work short notice. You will also need to drive and have your own vehicle.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, bathrooms, and communal spaces.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and free from dust and debris.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners.
- Restock cleaning supplies as needed and report any maintenance issues to management.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of cleanliness.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain consistency in service delivery.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in residential cleaning is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights (vacuum cleaners, buckets of water, etc).
- Understanding of health and safety practices related to cleaning operations is advantageous.
- Previous DBS clearance is preferred.
- Must be a driver with own vehicle (mileage expenses covered).
