Role Overview
As a key member of the Parts and Sales Administration team you will support customers in identifying the correct parts and equipment they need, across our turf and irrigation businesses. Using online manuals, exploded diagrams, and electronic catalogues, you’ll help ensure customers receive accurate, timely advice and a smooth, professional service experience.
You will work both independently and collaboratively with the wider team, contributing to efficient operations and high levels of customer satisfaction across our sales teams, service centres, dealer network, and end‑user customers.
What you’ll be doing – Key responsibilities
· Provide expert parts guidance to dealers, service centres, and end‑user customers, ensuring all enquiries are handled promptly, professionally, and with a strong focus on building positive long‑term relationships.
· Identify machinery and irrigation components using electronic parts catalogues, exploded diagrams, and technical documentation, ensuring customers receive accurate information and the correct parts first time.
· Process and manage sales orders through the ERP system, maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency across all written, telephone, and verbal communications.
· Respond to customer enquiries by diagnosing parts requirements, offering technical support, and advising on suitable replacements or upgrades where appropriate.
· Coordinate with internal teams—including sales, service, and logistics—to ensure smooth order fulfilment, timely dispatch, and clear communication throughout the customer journey.
· Handle returns and warranty claims, assessing product issues, documenting findings, and ensuring claims are processed in line with company procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
· Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge, staying informed on new machinery, parts updates, and changes within the Turfcare and Grounds Care sectors to provide accurate and current advice.
· Support stock management activities, including checking availability, advising on lead times, and helping ensure parts inventory aligns with customer demand.
Contribute to continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance customer experience, and support the wider team’s efficiency
