Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
- Assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations efficiently.
- Provide menu information, take orders, and relay them accurately to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards, ensuring high levels of cleanliness and organisation.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food preparation.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Support bartending duties as required, including preparing drinks and maintaining the bar area.
- Assist in catering events when necessary, providing excellent service to guests at various functions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others is crucial for success in this role.
- Experience in catering or bartending is advantageous but not mandatory.
