CNC Turner Setter/Operator

WB Employment is currently recruiting for CNC Turners of all levels to join a well-established precision engineering company based in Bristol.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in CNC Turning, whether you are an experienced Setter Operator or looking to progress your machining career. All levels of CNC experience will be considered, with training and development opportunities available for the right candidate.
Salary
Shift premium available:
- 25% shift allowance on late shift
Working Hours – Rotating Double Day Shift
Early Shift
Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
Friday: 6:00am - 11:00am
Late Shift
Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Friday: 11:00am - 4:00pm
The Role
As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for operating and/or setting CNC turning machines to produce precision components to engineering drawings and customer specifications.
Duties include:
- Operating and setting CNC turning machines
- Working with Fanuc-controlled machines
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Producing components to tight tolerances
- Using precision measuring equipment including micrometers and verniers
- Carrying out quality checks throughout production
- Supporting machine adjustments, tooling changes, and process improvements
- Following health & safety and quality procedures
What We're Looking For
- Any previous CNC Turning experience will be considered
- Experience using CNC machines (Operator, Setter Operator, or Programmer Setter Operator level)
- Ability to read engineering drawings (advantageous)
- Experience using measuring equipment
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable and motivated attitude
