Job Summary
Pizza Pārā is seeking a dynamic and passionate Sous Chef to join our vibrant culinary team! As a key player in our kitchen, you will support the Head Chef in overseeing daily food operations, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation, and maintaining a lively, efficient workspace.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in supervising daily kitchen activities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to food safety standards
- Lead food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high-quality standards for all dishes served
- Manage and motivate kitchen staff, fostering teamwork, training new team members, and promoting a positive work environment
- Oversee food production from prep to plating, ensuring consistency, presentation, and timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols throughout the kitchen area
- Collaborate with restaurant management on menu development, inventory control, and cost management
- Serve as a role model for hospitality excellence by engaging with team members and supporting guest satisfaction initiatives
- Create menus, dishes according to seasonal produce
- Lead your section/kitchen independently, with full creative freedom to create dishes and elevate our dining concept.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a busy kitchen or restaurant setting
- Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities
- Deep understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Prior experience with burger/grill preparation
- Prior experience with classic pasta dishes
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring smooth service flow
