Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for maintaining cleanliness and organisation in various commercial environments. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable, but full training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties across designated commercial premises, including offices, retail spaces, and other facilities.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas regularly.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, notifying management of any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks to the supervisor promptly.
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure thorough cleaning standards are met.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to schedules.
- Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations is advantageous.
