Kitchen Supervisor – Central Production Kitchen
Location: Hulme, Manchester
Hours: Full-time - Mon-Fri

About the Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive, and hands-on Kitchen Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of our Central Production Kitchen.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for maintaining high food production standards. You will ensure production runs efficiently, quality is consistently high, and the kitchen operates safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily production schedule, ensuring all products are prepared accurately and on time.
- Coordinate the day-to-day operation of the Central Production Kitchen.
- Supervise and support the kitchen team to achieve production targets.
- Monitor stock levels, complete inventory checks, and place orders when required.
- Ensure stock rotation and minimise waste through effective inventory management.
- Maintain exceptional food safety, hygiene, and cleaning standards.
- Ensure all HACCP records and food safety documentation are completed accurately.
- Carry out daily quality checks to ensure consistency across all products.
- Allocate tasks effectively and monitor team performance throughout each shift.
- Ensure equipment is maintained, cleaned, and reported if faults occur.
- Support training and development of kitchen team members.
- Work closely with management to improve processes and increase operational efficiency.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience supervising a commercial or production kitchen.
- Has excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Is confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Has a strong understanding of food safety and HACCP procedures.
- Holds a Level 2 Food Safety qualification (Level 3 desirable).
- Can motivate and lead a team by example.
- Has excellent attention to detail.
- Is proactive, reliable, and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
- Is comfortable using stock management and production planning systems.
