Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt and professional technical support to end-users via help desk tickets, phone, or in-person interactions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Diagnose and fix software problems across operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Manage computer networking components such as LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and switches to ensure secure connectivity.
- Assist with software installations, updates, and configurations for various applications including Microsoft Office and specialized enterprise tools like ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations using ticketing systems.
- Collaborate with team members to implement security measures and perform routine system maintenance to prevent downtime.
Experience
- Proven experience providing technical support in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux; experience supporting multiple platforms is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting software issues related to productivity tools like Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to diagnose hardware failures related to computer hardware components and peripherals.
- Experience using IT service management tools such as ServiceNow or BMC Remedy for ticketing; working knowledge of Jira is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.

Pay: £25,420.00-£52,846.90 per year
