Duties
- Prepare and assemble burgers according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring each item is consistently delicious and visually appealing
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, and food prep stations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food prep area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor ingredient freshness and restock supplies as needed to keep the kitchen well-stocked for peak service times
- Follow proper meal preparation procedures, including portion control and presentation standards
- Assist with other food preparation tasks to support team members during busy periods
- Ensure all food handling practices meet health department guidelines and safety protocols
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or fast-food environment is preferred but not required; we welcome eager learners!
- Knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and food safety standards is highly valued
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques, including grilling, assembling, and plating, will help you succeed in this role
- Experience serving customers or working in a team-oriented setting is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
