Al Ameen Primary School is looking for a qualified teacher for a position in Lower Key Stage 2. Al Ameen Primary School is a lovely single form entry Islamic school in Tyseley, Birmingham.
This role requires somebody who has a strong knowledge of the key stage 1/2 curriculum, and is of the Muslim faith.
The role is 5 days per week, with full planning commitments, and is from the start of September in the 2026/27 academic year.
We follow local authority term time dates with additional days off for parts of Ramadhan and Eid.

Candidates who do not have QTS but have a degree in English or Maths and have at least 2 years experience of teaching the UK National Curriculum may also apply. ECTs are also welcome to apply.
An understanding of Islamic values and principles is required with a commitment to work within an Islamic environment in line with an Islamic ethos.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices in early childhood education.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom conducive to learning.
