Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Bookings Assistant to join our team. working Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing booking schedules, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong administrative skills, proficiency in various software programmes, and excellent communication abilities. The position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment where organisational skills and IT literacy are highly valued.
Responsibilities
· Positively contribute to client relationships
· Liaising with clients and engineers via phone, email and other forms of messaging when booking engineer appointments
· Reporting any potential problems/issues to the relevant team member
· Assisting with processing of email inboxes, ensuring responses are sent in a timely manner
· Updating excel track sheets with notes and other required information
· Attending JR Team meetings when required, either in person or via Teams
· Updating of client portals with progress of works as required
· Assisting with other administrative tasks as and when required
· Carrying out duties to a quality and standard set out in the Quality Management and Customer Care policy in addition to the Staff Handbook issued at induction
Experience
- Proven experience in sales administration or an administrative support role is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and general computer literacy is essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in customer service roles will be advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay: From £12.95 per hour
