At Sierra CP Engineering Ltd we have fantastic opportunity for experienced Accounts Assistant to join our Team.
The Role:
As Accounts Assistant you will be maintaining tight control of the purchase ledger, ensuring all transactions are correctly posted. You will process supplier invoices, credit notes, and expense claims in line with the Company's procedures.
You will reconcile supplier statements and investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly. You will prepare accurate and timely bank reconciliations. You will also be responsible for monitoring aged creditors and actively clearing outstanding balances.
Allocating supplier payments and handling credit control will be part of your duties. You will also assist with month-end close and support any other duties which may be reasonably required from the role.
Ideal candidate:
This role is a key component to our process, and we are looking for committed, enthusiastic employee. Ideal candidate will posses strong knowledge of all aspects of sales ledger, purchase ledger and reconciliations and will be comfortable working with accounting systems and Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables desirable). Experience within manufacturing environment will be advantageous.
Schedule:
- 37.5 hours a week with early finish on Friday.

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
