Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our clients childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children within a nurturing and stimulating environment. This position offers an opportunity to utilise your management and leadership skills whilst working closely with children to promote their early learning experiences. The role requires a passionate individual committed to delivering high-quality childcare in accordance with early childhood education standards.
Duties
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging activities that support children's developmental stages and individual needs.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
- Supervise children during play, mealtimes, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Support children's social, emotional, and behavioural development through positive guidance and communication.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any concerns or incidents.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support children's overall development.
- Lead by example in demonstrating best practices in childcare management and early childhood education.
- Assist with organising daily routines and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting.
- Demonstrable knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare management.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a childcare environment is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with colleagues and parents.
- Ability to manage behaviour positively whilst fostering a nurturing atmosphere.
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles requiring travel between settings or activities outside the nursery premises.

Pay: £28,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
