Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at The Queen of Hope Street pub.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests.
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while ensuring the highest standards of service and food safety are maintained.
This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed.
- Stay informed about new drink recipes, trends in the industry, and seasonal offerings to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, cocktail preparation techniques.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Good time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
