HR Advisor
Overview
We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and highly organised HR Advisor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a HR professional who enjoys working across a diverse client portfolio, providing practical, commercially focused HR support tailored to individual business needs.
As the day-to-day point of contact for multiple client accounts, you will manage a broad range of HR activities across the employee lifecycle. Success in this role requires the ability to manage competing priorities, multitask effectively across several clients, and consistently maintain exceptional attention to detail when handling complex and confidential HR documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR administration for a portfolio of client accounts, including contracts of employment, letters, policy documentation, and employee records.
- Maintain and update employee data within HRIS systems, ensuring complete accuracy across attendance, absence, holiday, and performance records.
- Act as the first point of contact for client HR enquiries, providing professional and practical HR guidance.
- Support employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance cases, escalating where appropriate.
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding activities, coordinating documentation and ensuring a smooth employee experience.
- Prepare high-quality HR correspondence and documentation with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Monitor and manage multiple workloads simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met across a range of client accounts.
- Maintain accurate and compliant records, demonstrating a thorough and methodical approach to all HR administration.
- Build positive working relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Essential Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:
✅ A minimum of 5 years' experience working within a HR role (essential)
✅ CIPD Level 5 qualification (essential)
✅ Strong generalist HR knowledge with a good understanding of UK employment law
✅ Proven experience managing multiple priorities and working with a diverse range of clients, customers, and stakeholders simultaneously
✅ Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of producing accurate, high-quality work and maintaining detailed HR records
✅ The ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst managing competing demands and deadlines
✅ Excellent organisational and administrative skills
✅ Strong written and verbal communication skills
✅ Confidence using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
✅ The ability to work independently, use initiative, and know when to escalate issues appropriately
