Parts Sales Lead - New & Used parts - Varied Role
Location: South Kirkby, West Yorkshire
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (No weekends)
Join the Slide Motorsport Team, we're looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our team and help take our parts department to the next level.
This is a varied, hands-on role that combines customer service, sales, administration, and parts handling. No two days are the same, so if you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for cars, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and growing parts sales across multiple platforms
- Responding to customer enquiries via email, phone, social media, and in person
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers visiting or contacting the business
- Preparing invoices for workshop jobs and parts sales
- Sourcing parts from various suppliers
- Assisting with stock control and improving inventory management
- Picking, packing, and dispatching parts using courier services
- Updating and maintaining our WordPress website
- Social media marketing across all major platforms
- General office administration and housekeeping
- Playing an active, hands-on role within the parts department
About You
We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, highly organised, and takes pride in their work. You'll be reliable, trustworthy, enthusiastic, and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- A willingness to learn new systems and processes
- The ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
Knowledge of cars and automotive parts, particularly Japanese vehicles is a bonus, but it's not essential. We're happy to provide training for the right person.
What to Expect
This isn't a role where you'll spend all day behind a desk. You'll be actively involved in handling used parts, sorting stock, preparing orders, and working with the rest of the team. It's a hands-on position with plenty of variety.
