Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled ATV & Garden Machinery Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of outdoor power equipment, including ATVs and garden machinery. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for mechanical work and outdoor equipment to develop their skills within a supportive environment. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of ATVs and garden machinery to identify faults and issues
- Perform repairs and maintenance using appropriate hand tools and power tools
- Replace or repair damaged parts, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of work carried out on each piece of equipment
- Assist with routine servicing, including oil changes, blade sharpening, and tyre replacements
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
- Keep the workshop clean, organised, and well-maintained to promote a safe working environment
Experience
- Proven experience in mechanical repair or maintenance of outdoor power equipment is desirable
- Knowledge of ATV systems and garden machinery is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to diagnose mechanical faults accurately and efficiently
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- A proactive approach to learning new skills and techniques within the field
