Role Purpose
To develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required to progress into a Sales Manager role. The Trainee Agricultural Sales Person supports the Sales Team with customer engagement, product learning, demonstrations, and administrative tasks while building a strong understanding of agricultural machinery and customer needs.
Key Accountabilities
· Build foundational product knowledge across tractors, telehandlers, implements, and associated machinery.
· Support Sales Managers with customer enquiries, quotations, and follow‑up communication.
· Assist with machinery demonstrations, handovers, and on‑farm visits.
· Maintain accurate CRM records and support preparation of sales documentation.
· Contribute to the organisation of open days, shows, working demos, and promotional events.
· Ensure machinery is presented to a high standard for customer interactions.
· Work collaboratively with Parts, Service, and Administration teams to support the full customer experience.
· Participate in manufacturer and internal training programmes.
· Undertake general duties to support the Sales Department as required.

Essential
· Interest in agriculture, machinery, or rural industries.
· Confident communicator with a willingness to learn.
· Good IT skills.
· Full UK driving licence.

· Experience in customer‑facing roles.
· Practical farming or machinery experience.
· Mechanical understanding.
Training & Progression Pathway
