Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while delivering exceptional service and high-quality beverages. Your expertise in coffee preparation and food safety will ensure that every customer enjoys their experience at our establishment.
Must be available from 8am - 2pm, Monday - Saturday
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar, seating areas and kitchen areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are fresh and presented attractively.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately, answering questions about menu items, and making recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining basic math skills for accurate billing.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous barista experience is required!
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment will be advantageous.
- Basic math skills are required for handling transactions accurately.
