Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to adults, with learning and physical disabilities and complex health needs. Ensuring their well-being and assisting them in achieving their personal goals. Your ability to communicate effectively and follow each clients care plans will be vital in fostering a positive environment for those you support.
You will be working with up to five clients and part of your role will include assisting with administering medication, moving and handling, personal care, supporting clients with eating & drinking and PEG.
You will be required to support clients with participating in activities, supporting them at Day Opportunities and completing household chores and cooking will be included. Transporting or supporting on public transport will be required and some clients have their own vehicles.
Your role will be to cover 12 hour shifts Monday-Sunday. Shifts start at 8am until 8pm. This will sometimes include a sleep in, depending the needs of the home.
You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week.
