About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Delta Care Limited at Fairhaven Care Home, based in Fleetwood. In this vital role, you will contribute to providing exceptional care to our residents, supporting their well-being and independence while upholding our company's values of compassion and professionalism.
Location: Fairhaven Care Home, 43-44 Laidleys Walk, Fleetwood, FY7 7JL
Shift Pattern: 36 Hours in a week, 12-hour shift, 3 working days (rota basis, alternative weekends)
8 am to 8 pm shift
Pay: £13.60 per hour
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality personal care, medication and support to residents in accordance with individual care plans.
- Supervise and delegate with staff members, fostering a positive team environment.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans and risk assessments tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, team members and other professionals.
- Support residents’ emotional well-being through compassionate interactions.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Requirements
- Medication trained
- Proven experience in senior or residential care settings.
- NVQ Level 2 (Preferred)
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve residents’ quality of life.
