About the role:
There is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Biomedical Scientist to join the Biochemistry Department within the Rapid Response Laboratory at North Middlesex Hospital on a Bank Contract. Unfortunately, this is not a training role and experienced BMS staff only will be considered.
This role is ideal for an HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientist who is looking to further develop their expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment. You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality diagnostic service, undertaking a broad range of specialised clinical biochemistry investigations with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
Working as part of a Biochemistry team, you will be responsible for performing, validating, and interpreting laboratory tests, contributing to maintaining turnaround times, and ensuring compliance with quality management systems and standard operating procedures. The role also includes involvement in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, method development, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
