Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and quality standards
- Cook pizzas to perfection using various methods such as eletric-fired ovens or standard kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Monitor ingredient levels and communicate stock requirements to management
- Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper handling of food and equipment
- Serve pizzas to customers with professionalism and courtesy when required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Previous experience working in a kitchen setting, preferably with experience in pizza making or culinary arts
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Passion for culinary excellence and customer satisfaction
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required
