Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front of House Supervisor for our bar and restaurant. In this role, you will at times work independently on shift. During busy shifts, you will lead the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences, ensuring smooth operations and outstanding service. Your leadership will inspire team members, uphold food safety standards, and create a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back.
Duties
- Supervise daily front-of-house operations, including service flow, guest interactions, and team coordination
- Lead, motivate, and manage restaurant staff to deliver high-quality service consistently
- Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring proper food preparation, presentation, and timely delivery to guests
- Maintain food safety standards by monitoring hygiene practices and compliance with health regulations
- Assist in training new team members on serving techniques, hospitality standards, and safety procedures
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good communication between front and back of house
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Experience with barista and bar service is necessary
- Strong understanding of hospitality principles, including serving etiquette and guest engagement
- Ability to keep calm under pressure when working independently or as part of the team.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and staff alike
