As a holiday let cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring that each property is spotless, welcoming, and ready for new guests. Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and prepare holiday rental properties between guest stays, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces
- Change linens, towels, and restock essentials such as toiletries and cleaning supplies
- Conduct detailed inspections to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards and report any maintenance issues or damages
- Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
- Manage waste disposal efficiently and ensure properties are left tidy and presentable
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and products effectively to achieve optimal results
- Communicate clearly with the management team regarding property status, guest feedback, or special requests
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidates
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Good physical stamina for tasks involving standing, bending, lifting, and moving cleaning equipment
- Reliable with excellent time management skills to ensure timely turnovers between bookings
