Job Summary
Due to changes within the business we’re looking for a day driver to be able to do a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. The job involves working alongside another driver. So it’s important to look after the truck and keep it clean. The work is fridge work. So the mornings consist of doing the collections for our customer and then doing a trailer swap and then a delivery in the afternoon. During the week the start times are around 11:00am and finish around 7/8am. The day rate is a flat £150 for the day. You will be paid a salary at the end of every month. As well as overtime payments when coving extra shifts. The weekend work is normally an earlier start time but around the same working time of around 10 hour days. In some cases you might exceed this but that will be quite rare. We’re looking for a driver that can work independently and just get along with the job. We’re also looking for a long term driver. The right candidate will start straight away. This job is perfect for people who like to know what they’re doing everyday and be at home every night.
Experience is essential on class one work
Everything needs to be up to-date including CPC, tachograph card and driving licence .
