Duties
- Assisting with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Handling materials and tools safely and efficiently
- Supporting skilled tradespeople with their tasks as required
- Loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper storage
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Operating basic machinery or equipment following safety protocols (training provided)
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Reporting any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a labourer in construction or related fields
- Good physical fitness and stamina for manual tasks and long shifts
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work within safety guidelines
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on site
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as required
- Nice-to-have: valid CSCS card or equivalent certification; own PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
