Production Operative / Delivery Driver – 3-Month Temporary Cover

Rollerdor Ltd, The Roller Garage Door Specialists, are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Delivery Driver / Production Operative to join our team in Norwich on a 3-month temporary basis, providing cover within our busy manufacturing and delivery operation.
As a leading roller garage door manufacturer, we manufacture our doors at our Norwich factory and deliver them to customers and businesses throughout the UK.
The Role
This is a varied role, with your time split between and delivering doors safely and on time to customers across the UK and manufacturing roller garage doors in our factory.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, practical and enthusiastic, with the ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
Full training will be provided, so previous experience in the roller garage door industry is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacturing and assembling roller garage doors within our factory.
- Assisting with the preparation and loading of deliveries.
- Delivering garage doors safely and on time to customers across the UK.
- Driving company vehicles responsibly and in accordance with road and company requirements.
- Ensuring products are handled carefully during loading, transportation and delivery.
- Working as part of a busy production team while also being able to work independently.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Carrying out other reasonable production and delivery duties as required.

- Customer-focused and professional when making deliveries.
Experience working in a mechanical assembly or manufacturing environment would be preferred but is not essential, as full training will be provided. There will be some over nights stays required when on delivery runs.
A clean driving licence is essential, and previous experience driving long-wheelbase vehicles would be an advantage.
Hours
Delivery driving: Hours will vary depending on delivery schedules and destinations and will require early starts from 4am onwards.
Production hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
- 1-hour unpaid break each day
- Overtime available
Saturday and Sunday: Rest days.
Pay
£12.75 per hour, paid weekly, with overtime available.
Contract
3-month temporary contract – full-time
Immediate start available.
