About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated IT Support Technician to join a growing and fast-paced IT services and Telecoms provider. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting a wide range of business clients across different industries.
No two days are the same—you’ll be involved in everything from day-to-day support issues through to project work, infrastructure upgrades, and security improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system
- Provide 1st/2nd line support across a range of client environments
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues (Windows, Mac OS, etc.)
- Support Windows Server environments and Active Directory (users, permissions, policies)
- Manage Microsoft 365 / Office 365 accounts and permissions
- Assist with LAN/WAN networking, DNS, and connectivity issues
- Install and support 3CX VoIP systems
- Support and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Assist with cyber security measures (MFA, endpoint protection, email security, patching)
- Work alongside senior engineers on installations and project work
- Escalate complex issues where required while maintaining ownership
Skills & Experience
- Solid understanding of computer networking and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and general IT systems
- Experience with Windows Server environments
- Familiarity with Active Directory and user management
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID/Azure AD)
- Understanding of DNS, LAN configurations, and general networking principles
- Basic knowledge of Mac OS support
- Previous experience in a helpdesk or IT support role preferred
- Experience with VoIP (3CX) is beneficial but not essential

Pay: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
