As Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring all electrical works are completed safely, compliantly and to the highest quality standards. You will provide technical support to electricians, carry out quality inspections, monitor compliance and work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and the wider delivery team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining our excellent standards of workmanship and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical installation teams across multiple projects.
- Carry out quality inspections and technical audits of completed works.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with BS 7671, MCS requirements and relevant Building Regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to electricians and apprentices.
- Liaise with Project Managers, Site Managers and clients to ensure projects are delivered on programme.
- Monitor health & safety standards across all sites.
- Ensure all certification and installation records are completed accurately.
- Support commissioning and handover of Solar PV and Battery Storage installations.
- Assist with resolving technical issues and site queries.
- Promote a culture of quality, safety and continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
- AM2 Gold Card or equivalent recognised electrical qualification.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- Inspection & Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391, 2394/2395 or equivalent).
- Qualified to install and commission Solar PV and Battery Storage systems.
- Proven experience supervising electrical installation teams.
- Previous experience delivering projects within social housing.
- Strong knowledge of current electrical regulations and industry best practice.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Qualifications
- MCS experience.
- Experience working on PAS 2030/2035 retrofit projects.
- ECS Gold Card.
- SSSTS or SMSTS.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- Experience with Air Source Heat Pump electrical installations.
Pay: £40,000.00-£450,000.00 per year
