Join Our Team – Night Care Assistant
We are looking for caring, reliable, and compassionate individuals to join our team as a Night Care Assistant and make a positive difference in the lives of those we support.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers during the night.
- Ensure residents are safe, comfortable, and supported throughout their shift.
- Follow individual care plans and provide person-centred support.
- Monitor residents' wellbeing and respond appropriately to any needs arising during the night.
- Carry out regular welfare checks and maintain accurate records.
- Provide reassurance and emotional support to residents when needed.
- Promote dignity, independence, choice, and respect at all times.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment for residents.

- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Familiarity with care plans and ability to follow them accurately
- Good IT skills for updating records and managing documentation
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of care
