*Overview*
Love Lane Brewery, Bar & Kitchen sits in the heart of the Baltic Triangle, an up-and-coming area of Liverpool. Here you will find a blend of cosy ambience with the warmth and welcome of a traditional pub. We pride ourselves on an extensive drinks menu, made up of some of the best products on the market including beer brewed on site. The food menu is fresh and interchangeable, moving with the seasons and built around supporting local producers.
We are looking for front of house team members to join us. It's an exciting time at the venue, as we're making our mark in the community. You'll have the chance to put forward events ideas, menu ideas and contribute to our online presence.
We encourage you to be yourself, be unique, be proud of what you do and where you work. As a front of house team member, you'll be in charge of the day-to-day service within the venue. Bar and/or restaurant experience is preferred, but we can also teach you everything you need to know. A keen interest in food, booze and selling products you love is encouraged.
*Duties*
Including, but not limited to:
- Greet guests the same way you would greet a friend
- Taking orders and assisting with food and drink recommendations
- Fastidious when cash-handling and taking payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and restaurant areas
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
- Uphold food safety standards at all times
If you are someone looking to be a part of an exciting, up and coming venue with plenty of creativity and autonomy, then we want to hear from you. Our pay rates start at National Minimum rate depending on your age, with scope for progression. There is also ample opportunity to earn tips and service charge on top of this. We are not a late-night venue and have a great balance of daytime and evening shifts, with most evening shifts finishing at 11.30pm at the latest, outside of the events season.
Please note that the job is part time job with an 8 hour contract. Hours may flex up to cover holidays and busy periods but please only apply if you are happy with part time work.
