Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Plasterers Mate to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist experienced plasterers with preparing surfaces, mixing materials, and supporting various plastering tasks to ensure smooth and efficient project progress. Duties
- Assist plasterers with surface preparation, including cleaning and sanding walls or ceilings
- Mix plastering materials accurately according to project specifications
- Support the application of plaster, ensuring proper consistency and adherence
- Handle and operate hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding safely and efficiently
- Aid in installing insulation, lathing, or other related construction elements as needed
- Follow schematics and technical instructions to ensure precise work standards
- Maintain a clean work environment by clearing debris and organizing tools regularly
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of construction processes and safety procedures
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment preferred
- Familiarity with roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, or masonry is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety awareness
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Prior experience or training in plastering or related trades is advantageous but not required
