Job Summary
As a Door Supervisor, you will be the frontline ambassador responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at our venue. Your energetic presence and vigilant eye will ensure the safety of all guests, staff, and property. You will manage access control, monitor activity through CCTV surveillance, and respond swiftly to any incidents or emergencies. Your proactive approach will help create an enjoyable experience for everyone while upholding the highest standards of security and customer service.
Duties
- Control access to the venue by verifying IDs and checking tickets or invitations to ensure only authorized individuals enter
- Identified suspicious behavior or potential security breaches.
- Being the first point of contact for the venue, and being a welcoming and approachable individual that is at ease speaking with staff and patrons alike.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing guest behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
- Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances, including providing first aid when necessary.
- Enforce venue policies and safety procedures with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records to ensure accurate documentation of all activities
- Collaborate with team members and emergency responders to ensure a safe environment for all attendees
Skills
- Strong surveillance skills with experience of monitoring multiple areas simultaneously.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to deter theft and vandalism effectively
- Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations or emergencies.
- First aid certification to provide immediate assistance in medical incidents.
- Excellent communication skills for clear interactions with guests, staff, and emergency personnel. Fluent English a necessity.
- Vigilant attention to detail with a proactive approach to security management
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, or respond quickly over extended periods
