We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
To support the Head of Finance in the efficient operation of the company’s accounting and financial processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely reporting.
· Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
· Assist with the maintenance of a documented system of accounting policies and procedures as required
· Assist with the management of outsourced functions as required
· Assist with the Accounts payable ensuring they are paid in a timely manner as required
· Support Accounts receivable activities, ensuring they are collected promptly as required
· Perform daily Bank reconciliations daily as required and investigate discrepancies
· Assist with the chart of Accounts as required
· Process supplier invoices and employee expenses, Raising adhoc sales invoices and credit notes. Process payment runs. Prepare VAT returns
· Maintain accurate financial records within SAP B1
· Assist with a system of control over accounting transactions as required
· Assist with the Production of timely financial statements as required
· Assist with the preparation of the end-of-year accounts as required
· Assist with the end of month routines as required
· Assist with the calculation and issue of financial and operating metrics as required
· Assist with the management of the production of annual forecasts as required
· Assist with the production of a system of management reports monthly as required
· Assist with financial analysis as needed
· Assist with the monitoring of debt levels and its recovery
· Comply will all UK and European laws pertaining to the role.
Assisting with buying for our Coax Connectors and Ad-Hoc items (Full-time role only)
Requirements
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
· Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and financial processing.
· Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
· Experience with SAP B1 an advantage
· AAT qualification (or working towards) desirable
· Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
· Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters
· Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Bookkeeper, or similar financial role essential

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
