Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Bench Joiner Production Supervisor to join our highly experienced team to lead in the manufacture of our furniture and supervise production.
The Role
This is a hands-on senior position combining workshop supervision with the manufacture of high-quality bespoke furniture. You will be responsible for overseeing production, maintaining quality standards, managing workflow, and supporting the development of a small but highly skilled team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of our workshop operations while leading by example on the factory floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day operation of the workshop
- Maintain production schedules and ensure projects are delivered on time
- Lead, motivate, and develop a small manufacturing team
- Promote a culture of quality, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement
- Manufacture bespoke kitchens, bedrooms, and furniture to the highest standards
- Produce and oversee the manufacture of doors, frames, dovetailed drawer boxes, and other bespoke joinery components
- Work closely with design and installation teams to resolve technical challenges
- Monitor quality control throughout the production process
- Organise production workflows and allocate resources effectively
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
- Support business growth through efficient workshop management and continuous improvement initiatives
Essential Requirements
- Significant experience in bespoke furniture or high-end joinery manufacturing
- Strong background in manufacturing bespoke kitchens, bedrooms, and fitted furniture
- Experience producing 5-piece doors, drawer boxes, frames, and bespoke joinery components
- Excellent woodworking and cabinet-making skills
- Competent in the safe operation of woodworking machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
- Understanding of manufacturing health and safety requirements
- Positive attitude with a willingness to take ownership and responsibility
Desirable Skills
- Previous supervisory or management experience within a manufacturing environment an advantage
- CNC machinery experience an advantage but not essential
- Experience improving production processes and workshop efficiency

Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
