POSITION SUMMARY:
The Construction Coordinator will support the Regional Manager of Construction and site Construction Management teams with planning, coordination, documentation, reporting, logistics, cost tracking and site administration across UK, EU and International construction projects. The role is intended for a mobile, project-based construction support position with significant travel requirements. The Construction Coordinator will help ensure construction activities are properly planned, reported, documented and closed out in accordance with project requirements, customer expectations, Roeslein standards, and applicable local site requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Support daily, weekly and monthly construction reporting for active project sites, including progress updates, productivity reporting, site photographs, action logs, delivery records and close-out documentation.
· Maintain and update construction schedules, short interval plans, manpower plans, installation trackers, equipment control indexes, delivery trackers, punch lists and other project control documents.
· Assist the Construction Manager and/or Regional Manager of Construction with site mobilisation, demobilisation, travel planning, accommodation planning, local transport, site access and onboarding arrangements.
· Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, logistics, subcontractors, site supervisors and customer representatives to support timely execution of construction activities.
· Maintain accurate records of site deliveries, materials received, construction supplies, hire equipment, plant, tools, site consumables and project-related purchases.
· Support cost and commercial administration, including timesheets, labour reporting, charge codes, expenses, petty cash where applicable, purchase requisitions and basic cost tracking.
· Assist with quality management by gathering installation records, inspection records, test documentation, supplier documentation, photographic evidence and handover records.
· Assist with health, safety and environmental administration, including site inductions, permit-to-work tracking, RAMS documentation, toolbox talk records and incident or observation reporting where required.
· Prepare, organise and maintain construction documentation in project folders, SharePoint or other agreed systems, ensuring records are controlled, complete and available for audit or handover.
· Support subcontractor and direct-hire team coordination by tracking attendance, site hours, progress, constraints, open actions and required follow-up items.
· Assist with customer and internal reporting by producing clear daily and weekly reports, progress photographs and updated trackers for review by the Construction Manager or Regional Manager of Construction.
· Develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, suppliers, subcontractors and project stakeholders across all locations.
· Conduct all activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with Roeslein, customer, project and local statutory requirements.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Promote a positive working environment and support the organisation’s construction goals.
· Support continuous improvement of construction reporting, documentation, planning and site administration processes across the region.
· Perform other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organisation and project teams.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in office, manufacturing, fabrication and uncontrolled construction site environments. Exposure to dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, vehicle movements, lifting operations, construction activities, uneven ground and varying weather conditions may occur. The employee must follow all applicable Roeslein, customer, project and local site safety standards and wear required personal protective equipment in designated areas. International assignments may involve extended periods away from the employee’s normal base location.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee will regularly be required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear. Ability to lift and carry up to 22 kg / 50 lbs on a regular basis may be required. The employee must be able to work safely in construction environments, including walking on uneven surfaces and accessing active project areas where required.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
· Degree, technical qualification or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Controls, Business Administration or a related field is preferred; relevant site experience will be considered.
· Experience supporting construction, engineering, manufacturing, industrial installation or project delivery teams is preferred.
· Ability to read and understand construction drawings, installation drawings, schedules, action lists, trackers and basic technical documentation.
· Working knowledge of project scheduling, construction reporting, document control, site administration and project close-out processes is preferred.
· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint, are required; experience with project controls or ERP systems is beneficial.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, with the ability to communicate clearly across multi-country teams and with customers, vendors and subcontractors.
· Strong organisation, attention to detail, time management, personal conduct and change management abilities are required.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays or extended workdays where project requirements make this necessary.
· A valid driving licence in good standing is preferred and may be required depending on project assignment.

Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
