We are seeking a friendly and professional Bar Associate to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently.
- Ensure all drinks are served promptly and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and balance tills at the end of shifts.
- Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and health & safety guidelines at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- A friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional attitude.
- Experience in restaurant or bar environments is desirable but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key qualities.
Pay: £12.21-£12.91 per hour
