## Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team for a care home in the heart of the city. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and culinary arts, with a keen eye for detail and a flair for creating delicious dishes.
## Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes
- Assist in menu planning and developing new recipes
- Ensure all meals are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders when necessary
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation
## Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a busy kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- A passion for cooking and creating culinary delights
- Relevant qualifications in catering or hospitality would be advantageous
