The Role
We're seeking an energetic, strategic Brand Manager with experience in Fashion and Apparel to own marketing for Anception from pre-launch through sustained growth, executing the Founder's vision. You'll have led the marketing function for an apparel brand in the UK before - ideally through a launch - and will bring that playbook to build Anception's presence, community, and market position from the ground up. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who wants to build a brand and drive its growth, shaping brand narratives with measurable impact in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end brand marketing, from pre-launch through post-launch growth, across the UK and other markets
- Develop brand strategy aligned with company goals, market trends, and customer insights, and define the foundational brand message so it's consistent across all channels and socials
- Grow and manage social media presence — building an engaged following and driving measurable growth across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
- Sharpen market positioning and Anception's point of difference in the premium athleisure space
- Design and execute a unique launch campaign, and lead marketing campaigns across digital, print, and other media thereafter
- Build and grow email and waitlist sign-ups pre-launch, converting early interest into the brand's first pool of loyal customers
- Lead and inspire cross-functional collaboration — with product design, sales, and other teams — to deliver innovative campaigns that elevate brand presence and foster loyalty
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources; analyze market data and campaign performance to refine strategy
- Build relationships with external partners and agencies to amplify brand initiatives
What You Bring
- Proven experience running the marketing function for an apparel or fashion brand in the UK, ideally through a pre-launch to launch journey
- Strong track record growing social channels and engaged online communities
- Sharp brand instincts, with experience building and converting pre-launch demand (email/waitlist strategies)
- Creative campaign leadership — able to conceive and deliver a standout launch moment, not just execute a template
- Strong analytical skills, translating data into actionable strategy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Photoshop and any other tools necessary
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, and time management across multiple simultaneous projects
- Knowledge of B2B marketing practices; familiarity with marketing-relevant IT systems a plus
- Genuine alignment with Anception's mission around representation, sustainability, and premium quality
Why Join Anception
You'll be joining at the ground floor of a brand with a clear mission and a founder deeply involved in every detail — from fabric sourcing to campaign concept. This is an opportunity to shape a brand's identity from its very first customer, not step into something already built.
