Spires and Fields Builders Ltd are domestic builders specialising in extensions and renovations in the Oxfordshire area and are looking for a skilled Carpenter
The work will involve a variety of carpentry and general building work. The worker will need to be competent in first carpentry and second fix, stud walling, cutting a roof, installing joists, hanging doors, kitchen fitting, flooring, skirting and architraves, cladding and plaster-boarding.
The candidate will be expected to be able to read drawings and solve problems using their expertise in building. They are expected to work alone and with a team, making sure work runs smoothly
We will also expect the candidate to be able to help with other general building duties on site when needed, such as, plaster-boarding, steels works, roofing...etc
Due to the locations of our sites and the nature of our work you must have own transport and their own tools. Hours 8am-4pm
- CIS Registered
- 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
- Own tools and vehicle
- Experience on domestic construction sites
- Ability to read architectural drawings to work from
- Attention to detail and ability to be thorough
- Knowledge of building and the construction industry.
- Ability to work well in a team as well as on their own and instruct others
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £180.00-£210.00 per day
